By lawyers , for lawyers.

We are building Lextract because legal due diligence has to become faster, better structured and easier to follow — without replacing the lawyer’s judgement.
Lextract came out of what transactional practice actually needed.
Lextract is a legal tech company from Munich, founded by M&A lawyers and AI specialists. The legal experience comes from leading law firms, the technical experience from years of building AI systems.
Existing tools ask lawyers to bend their way of working to the software. That is why, in our own practice, due diligence tools were barely taken up.
Lextract was built from the perspective of the people who coordinate the due diligence. What began as workflow automation now runs from the data room through to the final DD report.
Transactional law and engineering, at one table.
Behind Lextract is a team of lawyers, engineers, product and design.

Making a firm’s experience usable, systematically.
Lextract takes on the repetitive legwork so that time goes where it decides the deal — into the legal assessment, the negotiation and the conversation with the client.
Lextract does not only want to automate due diligence but to make it broader, deeper and better. As an operating platform for automated deal intelligence, it makes a firm’s experience usable in a systematic way: standards, insights and deal knowledge are kept, grow with every transaction and speed up the work on the next deal.
Five principles that shape our work.
Lextract is in use on transactions run by law firms, corporate M&A teams and investors, across deal sizes and transaction structures.
